cricket....

we have a cricket that has taken up residence on our back porch. i'm glad he's there. makes me think of home. i never realized how much i missed hearing crickets until he moved in. it's something i'm so used to hearing back home, it's like i don't even notice it until it's gone. that doesn't make much sense, does it. anyways, i hope he stays around.

i have a book review i've been meaning to write for three weeks. i'm so far behind on it, along with lots of other things.

oh and my sweet finney is back to her happy swimmy self. i felt absolutely terrible for feeding her that food. supposed to be the best out there and it's not cheap, i'll say that. so we're sticking to homemade food and nice veggies for the girl. yes, i make my fish homemade food. much better than that flake crap. at least i know what's in it.
